I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Honors Carolina with a major in Communications with a concentration in Interpersonal Communication and a minor in Advertising and Public Relations as well as Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics. I have recently received my Master in Marketing at Vanderbilt University with Owen Graduate School of Management. Through this program, I have gained valuable skills in analytics, digital marketing strategies, brand management, and paid media.
I am currently working at Marbaloo Marketing as a Publicity intern. With over 30 entertainment clients, I produce weekly client wraps as well as Press Releases and Media Alerts. I pitch public relations opportunities to media outlets and research entertainment industry trends to strategically position clients. I have ample experience with building earned media, creating press materials, campaign activations, and producing media lists.
The summer of 2022, I completed an internship at Lime Creative in London as the Social and Public Relations Intern. I independently designed a complete social media launch plan for client Ignite Heal including creating a media list, identifying a target market, increasing brand awareness, content creation ideas, and an influencer outreach strategy. I strengthened my paid and owned media skills through creating social media posts in Canva and writing copy for Lime Creative and Gaggenau’s Instagram and LinkedIn. In addition, I monitored social media account analytics to create a marketing report to be presented to the client Gaggenau. These skills will contribute to my knowledge of influencer marketing, social media analytics, paid social media campaigns, and social media content production that are needed in the Influencer Manager role.
I have additional social media experience as the Social Media Development and Strategy Intern for EATS2SEATS. I have implemented my marketing skills by raising social media views by 139% and curating a sales tactic that has enabled us to bring in over $12,000 for local non-profit organizations. Additionally, I worked as the Senior Opportunities Intern for Honors Carolina for two years. In this position, I recruit, train, and manage the Junior Opportunities Intern. I collaborate with alumni and campus department heads through email marketing to generate over 120 opportunities for students. Additionally, I promote these opportunities to students increasing the number of applicants by 141% over the year.
I am excited to connect!
